This prize is awarded biannual in the odd years by the GNS for outstanding work in the field of the development of new technologies in neuroscience. The prize money of 2,500 Euro donated by FEI Munich Company is intended to support young scientists up to the age of 35 years
A prerequisite for a successful application is outstanding research work documented by publications. The candidate should work in a German laboratory or work as a German abroad. Both self-applications and nominations are invited. Applications from all areas of neuroscience are welcome. Membership in the GNS is not mandatory. The prize will be awarded at the Göttingen meeting (March 24 – 27, 2021) and the prize winner will give a lecture there. Applications have to be sent to the GNS office (gibson@mdc-berlin.de) until September 15, 2020 by email bundled to one PDF file.
