Governing Board

The society is governed by the executive committee and the annual general assembly. Elected members of the executive committee include the president, vice-president, secretary-general, treasurer, and ten section spokespersons. The past president is part of the executive committee ex officio in advisory function. Section spokespersons represent the core areas of neuroscience research, and the student members.

Elections take place in January of the odd years. The new executive committee takes office in March at the end of the German Neuroscience Society Göttingen Meeting.
